We are looking for a Quality Process Leader to join Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana!\nThe Quality Process Leader will provide problem solving leadership on process, product, customer and equipment issues while on shift working through quality related issues to minimize scrap and maintaining quality expectations set by our customers.\nWhat’s in it for you!\nTo support our teams and their families beyond the workplace, we provide an outstanding benefits package effective day one of employment!\nIndustry leading compensation program.\n401K options that begin vesting day 1.\nFirst-rate vacation plan for valuable work-life balance.\nRelocation assistance for new team members.\nEmployee resource groups.\nWhat you will work on:\nComplete line audits and monitor processes to ensure customer and production expectations are met. \nDisposition metal in real time to ensure maximum recovery that meets customer requirements.\nWork with Area Metallurgists on quality issues that arise on shift.\nReview SQM maps on shift for quality defects and disposition accordingly.\nBecome a Process Manager over key processes identified by management.\nTroubleshoot the SQM systems when issues arise.\nInspect coils at the 2-56 when needed to obtain samples for troubleshooting and dispositioning.\nInspect 10 ft samples for defects/features and react as needed when found.\nSend out Quality Shift Reports with metal dispositions along with detailed explanations.\nPosition includes 12 hour rotating shift work including weekends.\nAbout you:\nHigh School Diploma\n2 years of quality experience in manufacturing\nProven knowledge of leading/supervising in a manufacturing environment \nThe ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution \nAble to effectively communicate by written and verbal communication\nWilling to adapt to changing work schedule to support production needs\nMust be able to work in a hot environment, when on the plant floor\nMust be able to stand 50% of the time.\nIt would be great if you had:\nStrong technical aptitude along with proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP and Minitab\nWorking knowledge of Ametek SmartView surface inspections systems or other equivalent inspection systems\nIndustrial manufacturing experience in the metals industry\nBS/BA and significant related experience\nAbout Kaiser Aluminum Warrick: \nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
