Let's start with the role

As a Senior Product Manager  and part of an Agile development team at Kaizen Gaming, you will drive the vision and development of products by using agile best practices to maximize the business value of the team's deliverables. Our Sportsbook Product vertical lies at the heart of our operations, driving the development and evolution of our flagship product. With a primary focus on mobile applications, our Sportsbook Product team is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge features and functionalities, leveraging AI and experimentation to continuously enhance the betting experience.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will:

• Drive one Scrum team as the Senior Product Manager;
• Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team throughout the project;
• Create requirements in the form of epics and stories;
• Manage the backlog and iteration planning process;
• Lead the planning of product release schedules and set the expectations for the delivery of new functionalities;
• Mitigate impediments that could impact the release/sprint goals;
• Support the team and organization by using agile / scrum best practices and promoting agile values;
• Partner with product management and business stakeholders to create and maintain a product backlog prioritized according to business value or ROI;
• Collaborate with Product Analysts and AI teams to ensure product decisions are informed by evidence and experimentation.
• Explore the market to identify opportunities and represent the voice of the customer to the team.

What you'll bring

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our esteemed Sportsbook Product team. As a pivotal member of the team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping the future of our sports betting platform, particularly within the mobile space. Collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and software development teams, the Product Owner will lead the delivery of innovative solutions that elevate our mobile betting experience to new heights.

More specifically, we are looking for a professional with: 

• At least 2 years of working experience as a Product Owner/Manager in a technological environment;
• Extensive experience working on mobile applications, particularly on iOS and Android platforms.
• Solid experience with Agile methodologies;
• Experience leveraging A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and product analytics (e.g., GA4, Looker, or similar).
• Proven ability to define requirements that identify business challenges and outline the technical and business changes needed to address them;
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and business teams;
• Familiarity with online sports betting products is an asset;
• Good understanding of technology, programming languages and software architecture is considered a plus;
• Experience working with design teams, understanding UX fundamentals, and skills in wireframing are valued;
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools, personalization, or automation in digital products is considered a plus.
