You’ll support two client projects over a short-term engagement running from late November through early January, with a strong focus on manual testing, responsive layouts, and accessibility. Design quality is central to this team’s work, so a sharp eye for detail and the ability to verify builds closely against designs is key. One project also includes some test automation work, so hands-on automation experience is valued, though manual testing remains the priority.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform manual testing across web applications and newly designed pages, identifying functional, visual, and usability issues.\nVerify that builds match design specifications closely, flagging inconsistencies in layout, spacing, typography, and interactions.\nTest responsive layouts across browsers, devices, and screen sizes to ensure a consistent, polished user experience.\nConduct accessibility testing against WCAG standards, using both manual techniques and automated tools where appropriate.\nSupport test automation efforts on one project by writing, maintaining, or running automated tests as needed.\nWrite clear, reproducible bug reports and track issues through to resolution.\nCreate and execute test cases and test plans based on designs and requirements.\nCollaborate closely with designers, developers, and project leads to communicate findings and priorities.\nManage time effectively across two concurrent client projects with different timelines.\nCore Requirements\nStrong experience in manual QA testing for web applications.\nHands-on experience with cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive layout testing.\nWorking knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and accessibility testing tools such as axe, Lighthouse, or WAVE.\nA strong eye for visual detail and experience testing against design files.\nExperience writing test cases and documenting bugs in tools such as Jira or similar.\nSome experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium).\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\nAbility to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.\nNice-to-Have\nPrevious experience at a design or product agency, or in client-facing project work.\nExperience with automated accessibility testing integrated into a test suite or CI pipeline.\nFamiliarity with screen readers (e.g., VoiceOver, NVDA) for manual accessibility checks.\nExperience working with Figma or similar design tools.\nAdditional\nUS Timezone Overlap: CT\nEngagement dates and schedule: Part time (50%) Nov 30 -
