This is a hands-on engineering role focused on technical SEO, site performance and automation. You'll fix the technical foundations of our sites, build internal tools that automate SEO work at scale, and create systems to publish high-quality content programmatically. Strong programming skills, a solid grasp of technical SEO and an AI-forward mindset are key to success in this role.\nKey Responsibilities\nBuild and maintain systems that help search engines crawl, render and index our websites.\nFix technical SEO issues such as broken redirects, URL structure and duplicate content (including canonical tags).\nOptimize Core Web Vitals and site performance, including page speed.\nBuild internal tools and scripts to automate SEO tasks, such as bulk meta tag updates, log file analysis and schema validation.\nBuild systems to create and publish high-quality content programmatically.\nPartner with marketing, content and product teams to prioritize and ship SEO improvements.\nCore Requirements\n6+ years of experience as a software engineer, including 3+ years focused on SEO/GEO.\nStrong programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript.\nSolid understanding of how search engines crawl, render and index websites.\nHands-on experience with technical SEO, including redirects, canonicalization, structured data and Core Web Vitals.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\nAbility to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.\nNice-to-Have\nExperience with programmatic SEO and publishing content at scale.\nFamiliarity with GEO / Generative Engine Optimization and how content is surfaced in AI-generated responses.\nExperience with tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush.\nAdditional\nUS Timezone Overlap: 6-7h with PST.\nStrong curiosity about AI and its impact on search and digital
