# Data Engineer

Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Build and optimize data lakes and data warehouses to support analytics and business intelligence. Work with big data technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Hive, Trino, and Airflow. Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, streams, files, and cloud storage. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all environments. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and DevOps engineers to deliver reliable data services. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency. Document data pipelines, schemas, and processes for maintainability. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and performance tuning. Hands-on experience with big data frameworks: Kafka, Spark, Hive, Hadoop, Trino. Knowledge of ETL tools and workflow schedulers: Airflow, NiFi, dbt.
