# Network Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities Perform network design and capacity planning. Installs configures, and maintains network passive setup such as cabling and other networking equipment such as firewalls, switches, and routers. Manage part of the network activity such as VPN remote end-points, VPN IPsec tunnels, MPLS connectivity, network access permissions, network devices backup, SD-WAN, network failover and rollback design, high availability network recommendations and design, and increase the network performance level from time to time. Manage part of the security solutions, including firewall analyzer WAF solution, IPS, NDR, and VA assessment security reports Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network-connected end-user hardware, software, and peripheral devices Research network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts. Provides second-level technical support to users concerning network system operations. Diagnoses problems with network equipment and performs equipment repair or upgrades when appropriate.
