You will optimize our complex app (UI, rendering, frameworks) by identifying, diagnosing, resolving performance bottlenecks, and implementing robust performance tests, with a deep focus on memory, energy, power, and thermal performance.\nResponsibilities\nLead Android performance profiling (jank, ANRs, memory, thermal) across UI, rendering, and app frameworks.\nOptimize & fix Android UI, rendering, and system performance issues.\nDefine, track, and report accurate Android performance KPIs (memory, energy, power, thermal).\nDevelop, maintain, and integrate performance monitoring tools & automated frameworks .\nImplement & maintain specialized performance tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) for CI/CD.\nAct as Android performance SME, guiding teams, reviewing architecture, and staying current.\nPerform in-depth data analysis, utilizing and developing custom analysis tools for actionable insights.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBS in Computer Science or equivalent.\n5+ years in Android performance engineering.\nExpertise in Java/Kotlin for Android.\nDeep understanding of Android OS architecture & performance pitfalls.\nExpert proficiency with Android profiling tools (Profiler, Perfetto, systrace, dumpsys, ADB, Battery Historian).\nProven ability to diagnose and resolve complex performance issues.\nAdept at measuring and interpreting memory, energy, power, and thermal metrics.\nStrong Android UI optimization skills (View hierarchies, RecyclerView, animations, overdraw).\nStrong understanding of mobile system architecture (CPU/GPU, memory, power management).\nExperience with performance testing frameworks (e.g., Android Macrobenchmark, Microbenchmark, Espresso).\nEffective communication of intricate performance analysis to diverse stakeholders,\nProven ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and thrive in fast paced, deadline-driven environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of power management and battery-life analysis techniques.\nExperience with automated testing for native iOS/macOS applications, utilizing the XCUITest framework.\nExperience with Mac or iOS application development using
