Work at customer site\nLegal Status: US Citizen or Green card\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and document Nacelle components and assemblies, including thrust reversers, inlets, fan cowls, and EBU systems.\nCoordinate with other functions to meet business standards, practices, and procedures as well as product/program requirements. \nExecute product processes related to design, analysis, test, materials, manufacture, quality and/or productivity.\nPerform Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations on events occurring in fleet of fielded hardware. \nInitiate and execute engineering changes to support cost out, weight out, and producibility projects.\nEffectively communicate with the engineering program manager to: Prepare for technical and program reviews within the organization. \nDevelop and Execute plans to achieve technical and program requirements. \nDevelop action plans in response to problems. \n\nParticipate in technical reviews and adhere to design practices and standards. \nCreate engineering change packages, including part definition and change substantiation.\nProvide technical inputs to cost out projects and associated reviews.\nMust have excellent computer skills (Power-Point, Excel and statistical software tools).\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace\n8+ years of related experience\n4+ dedicated Aerospace experience\nProficiency with 3D CAD Software (Catia) & PLM (3D experience)\nExperience with composite design software, Fibersim and/or CPD preferred\nStrong understanding of Aircraft structures & specifically Nacelle design guidelines (Composite and metallic)\nPositive attitude and leadership characteristics.\nCan work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.\nAble to work both individually and as part of a team.\nAbility to work with individuals with diverse backgrounds, experience, and education levels.\nExcellent communication skills to interface with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.\nMust be a Green card holder / US national\nPhysical requirements:\nAbility to ascend and descend ladders and/or stairs\nAbility to position self for inspection including confined, elevated, and loud noise spaces\nAbility to position self to move and/or transfer materials, equipment and/or supplies\nAbility to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties\nRead, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.\nComprehend and adhere to management
