We are continuously evolving, pioneering new technologies and\nreinventing existing ones, stretching ourselves to be better in everything we do.\nWe are looking for people who want to make a difference, talented members with the skills\nand passions to become the best of the future in what they do.\nJob Summary\nReporting to the ME Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer, MRB will provide on-site\noperational engineering support to the composite fan cases production team at our\nTallassee, Alabama site to deliver timely resolution of non-conformances and enable a\nstable production output.\nAccountable to review and resolve defects and non-conforming conditions in a production\nenvironment by delivering robust, capable and approved rework/repair instructions which\nprecisely follow internal and customer requirements.\nThis is a contract position. Flexibility to work on second shift and weekends where needed\nto support the program is preferred.\nJob Responsibilities\nWork alongside Quality Inspectors to review and classify defects on the production\nfloor and catalogue these in internal quality software.\nPrepare and submit non-conformances and proposed dispositions to the customer’s\nMRB Liaison team via an external portal. Manage and prioritize open non conformances in accordance with delivery priorities.\nEnsure timely responses to customer queries and clarifications to obtain MRB\ndisposition approval/concurrence from customer MRB Liaison.\nPrepare internal engineering repair instructions in-line with customer approved\ndispositions to resolve non-conformances.\nIssue approved repair instructions to production and document the completion of\nthese repairs in the customer portal to allow NC closure.\nAny other tasks or duties deemed necessary by the ME Manager.\nJob Qualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nBA/BS Engineering OR in lieu of degree, 10 years of aerospace manufacturing\nexperience.\n2+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).\nUS Person for Export Compliance purposes.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nWorking knowledge of composite structures and related processes.\nDemonstrated experience working on Material Review Board (MRB) activities.\nExperience with Aerospace systems and processes (eNMS portal).\nExperience with Aerospace products & processes (TIPQA).\nFamiliarity with GD&T and able to review drawings and specifications to determine\nproduct requirements and tolerances.\nAbility to communicate effectively with peers and leadership internally\nKaleidoscope, an Infosys
