Engineer\nPosition Overview\nWe are seeking an experienced Security Configuration & Attack Surface Management Engineer to support enterprise security configuration compliance, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation initiatives.\nThis role focuses on developing and implementing security configuration policies, managing technical security controls, and working closely with technology teams to identify vulnerabilities, validate compliance, and remediate security risks across enterprise environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, test, and implement security configuration compliance policies and technical controls.\n\nSupport enterprise attack surface management and secure configuration initiatives.\n\nPartner with infrastructure, security, and technology teams to validate security baseline controls.\n\nIdentify configuration vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation of non-compliant systems.\n\nManage vulnerability and compliance scanning using tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Tanium, and Symantec.\n\nEnsure accurate security scans, compliance reports, and risk assessments.\n\nWork across multiple technology platforms to improve enterprise security posture.\n\nCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to implement effective risk mitigation strategies.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n8+ years of experience in information security, technology risk management, or related fields.\n\nHands-on experience with security configuration compliance, vulnerability management, or attack surface management.\n\nExperience configuring and managing enterprise-level security controls.\n\nExperience with security scanning tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Tanium, or Symantec.\n\nKnowledge of Windows, Unix/Linux, or workstation administration.\n\nFamiliarity with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Regex for scripting and automation.\n\nUnderstanding of security risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements.\n\nStrong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nCISSP, CISM, or similar security certifications.\n\nExperience supporting security programs within banking or financial services.\n\nExperience working with enterprise security configuration baselines and remediation programs.\n\nInterview Process\nCandidates must complete a timed Security Configuration SME assessment before interviewing.\nThe assessment can only be attempted once.\n\nThe timer cannot be paused
