The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on software engineering experience, knowledge of Capital Markets, and the ability to independently design, develop, and deliver production-ready solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Python, SQL, JavaScript, and Terraform.\n\nBuild scalable data pipelines, APIs, automation frameworks, and backend services supporting Capital Markets and Treasury operations.\n\nDevelop clean, reusable, well-tested Python code following engineering best practices.\n\nBuild and enhance web applications, dashboards, and workflow tools using Dash/Flask, React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks.\n\nModernize legacy applications and manual processes through automation and improved software architecture.\n\nCollaborate with Capital Markets, Treasury, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\n\nSupport AWS cloud infrastructure, including ECS, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC, and Security Groups.\n\nManage source control, automated testing, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.\n\nIdentify and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and application defects.\n\nExplore and implement AI-driven solutions, including agentic workflows, RAG, and enterprise AI integrations.\n\nProvide technical leadership, code reviews, documentation, and mentorship to engineering teams.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n8+ years of software engineering experience building and supporting enterprise applications.\n\nStrong hands-on Python development experience, including application design, testing, and performance optimization.\n\nStrong SQL expertise, including relational databases, complex queries, optimization, and data modeling.\n\nExperience designing and developing data pipelines, APIs, and enterprise application architectures.\n\nExperience developing solutions supporting Capital Markets, including securities, derivatives, hedging, or interest rates.\n\nExperience with JavaScript and modern web application development.\n\nExperience with GitLab or similar CI/CD tools.\n\nStrong understanding of software engineering principles, application architecture, and production support.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with AWS, Terraform, and cloud-native application development.\n\nExperience with React, Angular, Vue, Dash, or Flask.\n\nKnowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, and workflow orchestration.\n\nExperience with Jira, including APIs, integrations, and data models.\n\nExperience in banking, Treasury, Risk, Finance, or Accounting.\n\nStrong Excel VBA skills and experience modernizing spreadsheet-based processes.\n\nBachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent
