# Purchasing Analyst

About the Role: The role of Purchasing Analyst at Kalmbach Feeds is an engaging position that allows an individual to have a real impact on the company’s bottom line. The position will require interface between Nutrition, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing and Production. The role will require supply chain management but the individual will have the unique opportunity of identifying new suppliers, new sources, and new ingredients based upon nutritional needs and opportunities that arise. The person in this role will coordinate all purchasing functions including purchase order processing, forecasting, delivery arrangements and price updates. Managing and maintaining supplier relationships and responding to customers’ needs will be essential tasks. The successfully contributing team member in this role will utilize their pleasant disposition, and strong attention to detail daily. As unique situations present themselves, the successful candidate must be sensitive to customer needs, corporate goals, team member goodwill and company reputation.
