This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the continued growth of Kalmbach Feeds while being part of a team that values relationships, collaboration, and accountability.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nIdentify, attract, and recruit talented Team Members who contribute to the continued growth and success of Kalmbach Feeds.\nManage the full recruiting process for assigned operations positions, from sourcing and screening candidates through offer acceptance.\n\nBuild strong partnerships with hiring managers and operations leaders to understand staffing needs, team dynamics, and the qualities that contribute to success in each role.\n\nDevelop and maintain candidate pipelines through job boards, social media, employee referrals, community partnerships, and creative sourcing strategies.\n\nRegularly visit operations facilities to gain firsthand knowledge of positions, strengthen relationships, and better understand the needs of the business.\n\nRepresent Kalmbach Feeds at hiring events, career fairs, and community outreach opportunities to connect with prospective candidates.\n\nDeliver a positive candidate experience through consistent communication, thoughtful interactions, and timely follow-through.\n\nPartner with hiring managers to evaluate candidates based on qualifications, potential, and alignment with company values.\n\nCollaborate with the onboarding team to support a smooth transition for new Team Members following offer acceptance.\n\nMonitor recruiting activity, labor market trends, and hiring results to identify opportunities for improvement while maintaining accurate records within the applicant tracking system.\n\nTake ownership of recruiting priorities, manage multiple openings effectively, and collaborate with the recruiting team to meet the changing needs of the organization.\n\nThe Right Candidate:\nBachelor's degree in any field preferred. Candidates without a degree must demonstrate substantial, progressively responsible recruiting experience.\n\nMinimum of three years of successful recruiting experience, preferably within manufacturing, distribution, transportation, agriculture, or other operations-focused environments. Candidates without a bachelor's degree should possess at least five years of directly relevant recruiting experience.\n\nDemonstrated success recruiting for hourly operations positions, managing multiple openings, and attracting qualified candidates in competitive labor markets.\n\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine ability to build trust and establish strong working relationships.\n\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of work.\n\nCreative, resourceful approach to recruiting, with the initiative to identify new strategies and solve challenges independently.\n\nExperience utilizing applicant tracking systems, online recruiting platforms, and social media to identify and engage candidates.\n\nWillingness to spend time in manufacturing, warehouse, transportation, and live production environments to develop a firsthand understanding of the business.\n\nSound judgment, personal accountability, and a commitment to representing Kalmbach Feeds professionally while demonstrating our core values.\n\nAbout the Company:\nKalmbach Feeds offers the highest quality nutritional products for livestock, poultry, and companion animals.
