We are looking for ambitious and exceptional people to join our (relatively small) team to help us build the next generation of financial markets.\nThe Role\nAs a Senior IT Engineer at Kalshi, you will own our New York office's technology experience. You'll report to the lead of our Site Reliability Engineering team, bringing hands-on expertise to everything from IT support to facilities, compliance technology, security, and employee onboarding.\nResponsibilities\nOwn the office technology experience: Be the primary point of contact for IT needs in our New York office - hardware, software, networking, workspace setup, and everything in between.\n\nEmployee onboarding: Lead the IT onboarding experience for all new hires, ensuring every Kalshian is set up and ready to hit the ground running on day one.\n\nExecutive support: Provide dedicated technology support to senior leadership, handling their needs with speed and discretion.\n\nCompliance technology: Partner with the SRE and compliance teams to manage and maintain the tools and systems that keep Kalshi secure and audit-ready.\n\nEndpoint & systems management: Manage device provisioning, MDM, access controls, and software licensing across the organization.\n\nProcess & documentation: Build and maintain IT processes, runbooks, and documentation that scale as the company grows.\n\nInfoSec & DevOps: For the right candidate, this role offers an on-ramp into security operations and infrastructure work alongside our SRE team.\n\nQualifications\n3-5+ years of IT experience, preferably at a technology or financial services company.\n\nProven experience owning IT operations end-to-end, including hardware, networking, SaaS tools, and access management.\n\nExperience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms such as Okta.\n\nFamiliarity with compliance frameworks and security best practices (SOC 2, ISO 27001).\n\nExperience supporting executive stakeholders.\n\nStrong ownership mentality: you don't wait to be asked and you follow things through to completion.\n\nComfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where priorities can shift quickly.\n\nNice-to-haves\nScripting experience (Python, bash, etc)\n\nNetworking fundamentals (APIs, HTTP)\n\nCloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP)\n\nNYC Pay Transparency Disclosure\nSalary Range: 110,000-150,000 This range reflects current market data for this role.
