This role is responsible for building the core trading and user-facing platform on mobile, with clear ownership over feature delivery, performance, and long-term technical direction.\nYou’ll be a primary operator on our mobile stack - designing, building, shipping, and owning production-grade mobile features end to end. As Kalshi scales, this role will grow in scope and impact, with increasing influence over architecture, reliability, and team development. Success in this role comes from strong technical judgment, comfort owning complex systems, and a bias toward shipping high-quality user experiences quickly\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn the development and evolution of Kalshi’s mobile application, with responsibility for quality, performance, and user experience\n\nDesign, build, test, and ship customer-facing mobile features end to end\n\nBuild and maintain a production-grade mobile application using Flutter, including core platform features like notifications and biometric authentication\n\nCollaborate closely with product and design partners to translate business and user needs into thoughtful technical solutions\n\nArchitect user interfaces, manage application state, and integrate cleanly with backend APIs\n\nMake and execute on software architecture decisions that support long-term scalability and reliability\n\nOperate with a strong sense of ownership over deployment, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the mobile app\n\nMentor and support other mobile engineers as the team grows, helping establish strong engineering practices and standards\n\nWhat You Bring\n5+ years of industry experience building customer-facing software\n\nStrong mastery of Flutter and experience shipping production-grade mobile applications\n\nHands-on experience with core mobile features such as push notifications, biometric authentication, and device-level integrations\n\nStrong technical fundamentals in application architecture, state management, and API-driven systems\n\nAbility to own work end to end, from design and implementation through testing and deployment\n\nComfort operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment with evolving requirements\n\nStrong collaboration skills and a product-oriented mindset\n\nA bias toward execution, code quality, and delivering exceptional user experiences\n\nBonus:\nExperience with React or React Native\n\nNYC Pay Transparency Disclosure\nBase Salary Range: $180,000-$250,000\nThis range reflects current market data for this role.
