Your work will impact how our developers use cloud infrastructure, help teams to eliminate infrastructure toil, improve engineering productivity, reinforce security safeguards and constantly strive for greater cost efficiencies in operations.\nEngineering Foundations: Engineering a scalable, reliable and developer friendly platform to promote seamless software development, deployment and operations.\nAutomation & Tooling: Develop tools to abstract the complex aspects of the platform from developers to improve developer experience and operational efficiency.\nInfrastructure as Code: Use tools like Terraform, Helm and Crossplane to manage and automate provisioning of all cloud infrastructure and champion GitOps best practices.\nMonitoring & Observability: Establish robust monitoring and logging foundations collaborating with the wider Site Reliability Engineering Function.\nSecurity & Reliability: Incorporate security best practices, ensure compliance, and participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota to troubleshoot and prevent recurrent issues.\nStakeholder Coordination: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate upgrades and hold service providers accountable.\nAbout You\nIdeally you’ll have\nExperience building and shipping production applications.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills with a curiosity to solve problems.\nExperience using cloud platforms like AWS (preferred), Google Cloud, or Azure.\nA strong desire to (or experience in) creating and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in production.\nA solid foundational understanding of distributed systems.\nExperience with CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code technologies.\nWhere you'll work\nWe offer flexible working, with a requirement of 3 days a week in the office.
