We’re a large team of both data-led and product focused Software and Production Engineers, pushing the boundaries of technology and working at an extraordinary scale. \nAs a collective we strive for engineering greatness and by ensuring best practices across the board of the community.\nOur tech stack is fluid, but broadly you can find yourself working with:\nTypescript, Node JS, Terraform, Gitactions, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Kafka, GraphQL \nResponsibilities\nBuild and maintain backend services using modern technologies like TypeScript and Node.js.\nLearn to work with event-driven systems and cloud platforms (especially AWS).\nCollaborate with other engineers, product managers, and designers to develop customer-facing features.\nWrite clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to grow your technical skills.\nContribute to the ongoing development of services and systems, with support from your team.\nWork with databases (SQL or NoSQL) to manage and retrieve data.\nTake part in team discussions, stand-ups, and planning sessions to understand how we build at scale.\nAsk questions, seek feedback, and share what you’re learning to support a positive team environment.\nAbout You \nIdeally, you'll have/be:\nSome hands-on experience writing backend code, ideally in TypeScript, or keen to learn it.\nA basic understanding of cloud technologies or interest in learning about platforms like AWS.\nFamiliarity with databases and APIs, and a desire to build reliable software.\nA collaborative and open mindset, you're excited to learn from others and contribute to a team.\nA curiosity for how things work and a proactive attitude to improving your skills.\nPassion for building technology that solves real problems for users.\nBonus: exposure to frontend development\nWhere you'll work\nWe offer flexible working, with an expectation of 3 days a week in the office.
