KVI’s Service Group combines its own research and development with comprehensive manufacturing and erection capabilities to support our clients throughout the entire life cycle of their plant.\n The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all on-site activities to ensure that work is executed in accordance with contractual requirements, project timelines, budgets, and QHSE standards. Acting as the technical and managerial lead on site, this role coordinates internal teams and subcontractors, ensures compliance with risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), and drives continuous improvement in operational performance. This position will work remotely and candidate may be located in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania/Virginia or Tampa, FL areas.\n Guidance & Personnel Management:\nProvide clear leadership to on-site teams by communicating work schedules, safety protocols, and project requirements.\nSupervise both internal personnel and subcontractors to ensure work is performed safely, on time, and within budget.\nMonitor and review performance, and escalate issues when necessary to maintain high quality standards.\nOperational & Service Oversight:\nCollaborate with the Account Manager to develop and implement work plans and schedules.\nMonitor project progress, manage change requests, and follow up on deviations and claims.\nEnsure that on-site activities conform to contractual and budgetary requirements.\nProvide hands-on assistance as a fitter or welder when necessary to support critical on-site operations.\nAssist in resolving technical issues by performing mechanical or welding tasks as required.\nCompliance & Collaboration:\nEnsure strict adherence to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, internal policies, and external regulations.\nReview and ensure that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are up-to-date and followed.\nMaintain clear communication with internal stakeholders (e.g., Account Managers, HSE, Site Support teams) and external parties (e.g., clients, subcontractors).\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs):\nAchievement of project timelines and adherence to budgets.\nHigh compliance with QHSE standards and reduced safety incidents.\nEffective resolution of on-site technical and operational issues.\nPositive feedback from clients and internal stakeholders regarding site performance.\nQualifications & Experiences:\nTechnical diploma in Mechanical or Maintenance.\n5+ years’ experience in site supervision or field service within a large industrial environment.\nProven experience in contractor coordination and QHSE management.\nExperience in working in a matrix organization.\nProficient in Microsoft Office and standard project management tools.\nFluent in the local language and English, another language is a plus.\nExperience in maintenance/assembly in international mechanical or plant engineering, preferably waste -to-energy plants\nExperience in pipeline construction\nExperience in boiler construction\nImplementation of pipeline construction on the basis of pipeline planning in 3D programs and pipe isometric\nKnowledge of at least 2 welding processes\nGood product knowledge\nPersonal Attributes:\nStrong awareness of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) management system and commitment to safe work practices.\nSolution-oriented, proactive, and reliable.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and relay information.\nDetail-oriented with a high degree of vigilance to detect and report abnormal situations.\nStrong leadership and team coordination capabilities, maintaining team cohesion and motivation.\nWillingness to travel 100% and at all sites.\nThis job description is indicative and not exhaustive.
