Unlike traditional interconnects, our solution reduces power consumption significantly while preserving high bandwidth and ultra-low latency - unlocking unprecedented efficiency for AI training and inference at scale.\nKandou’s architecture is not just an incremental improvement - it’s a foundational shift in how AI hardware is built for the future.\nWe are actively seeking a Firmware Engineer Bare Metal, based in Hyderabad, Pune OR Bangalore\nResponsibilities:\nWork to develop, test and maintain embedded firmware for silicon products.\n\nEnsuring the robustness of code by implementing and running a software test suite\n\nMigration, consolidation and development of existing silicon debug software\n\nSoftware design and support for our silicon design infrastructure\n\nEssential Experience:\nStrong experience in designing, coding and debugging real-time applications in C and/or C++ in a embedded environment\n\nExperience in using or implementing Real-Time scheduler or RTOS\n\nKnowledge of 32-bit processor architecture\n\nInterfacing to hardware and peripherals: SPI, I2C/SMBus, JTAG\n\nDebugging at application and hardware level\n\nAppreciation of Software validation and verification techniques\n\nAbility to develop under different platforms (Linux, Windows)\n\nUse of modern SW development workflows (CI/gitlab/makefile/CMake etc.)\n\nIndependent, self starter who can help drive the firmware development forward.\n\nUseful Experience:\nDevelopment in a modern high-level scripting language (e.g. Python, Lua).\n\nExperience interfacing to flash memory, including in-field update techniques\n\nAppreciation of Cryptographic algorithms and disciplines\n\nKnowledge of SerDes technology\n\nHardware interfacing and electronics knowledge\n\nNetwork programming experience\n\nExperience:\nExperience working in a team\n\nExperience in embedded C/C++\n\nExperience coding a low-level microprocessor or microcontroller\n\nExperience optimizing low level code to meet real-time performance targets\n\nExperience programming in interpreted object-oriented high-level languages (e.g. Python)\n\nExperience working and programming on multiple platforms (e.g. Unix, Linux, Window and OSX)\n\nIf this is the role you have been looking for and you want to be part of a growing Company, with an exciting future then we would really love to hear from you.
