You will own delivery\noutcomes, team health, staffing and continuity, and act as the main point of\ncontact for client and Kanerika leadership on delivery, risk and reporting. The\nrole needs strong technical credibility combined with people management and\nengineering operations discipline.\nKey\nResponsibilities:\n·Own\ndelivery governance across multiple pods: sprint commitments, release plans,\nmilestones and quality outcomes.\n·Manage\nstaffing, onboarding, knowledge transfer, continuity planning and timely\nreplacements so teams stay fully productive.\n·Track\nand manage risks, dependencies and issues across pods, and drive escalations to\nclosure with client and internal stakeholders.\n·Define,\ntrack and report engineering metrics (velocity, predictability, defect leakage,\ncycle time, test coverage) and drive improvement actions.\n·Prepare\nregular status reports and steering-committee updates for client and Kanerika\nleadership.\n·Support\ntimesheet management, effort tracking and invoicing reconciliation.\n·Partner\nwith Tech Leads and the AI Architect on technical direction, capacity planning\nand engineering best practices.\n·Coach\nand mentor Tech Leads and engineers, and drive performance management, career\ngrowth and team engagement.\n·Ensure\nadherence to SDLC, security, compliance, CI/CD and definition-of-done standards\nacross pods.\nWhat\nYou’ll Bring:\n·Bachelor’s\nor Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or\nequivalent experience.\n·8+\nyears of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years as an\nEngineering Manager or Delivery Manager.\n·Proven\nexperience managing multiple agile teams (20+ engineers) on enterprise software\nor SaaS engagements.\n·Technical\nbackground in Java, Python or full-stack development, enough to engage credibly\nin architecture and design discussions.\nMandatory\nSkills:\n·Strong\nexpertise in Agile/Scrum delivery at scale, including multi-team planning,\ndependency management and release governance.\n·Experience\nwith staffing, resource planning, onboarding and people management.\n·Hands-on\nexperience defining and reporting engineering KPIs and delivery metrics.\n·Working\nknowledge of Java/Spring Boot, Python, Angular, microservices and AWS/Azure\ncloud.\n·Understanding\nof CI/CD, DevOps, test automation and quality engineering practices.\n·Experience\nwith Jira, Confluence and delivery reporting tools such as Excel
