The ideal candidate will be\nresponsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise\ndata solutions on the Snowflake platform. This role involves building scalable\ndata pipelines, developing metadata-driven frameworks, automating database\ndeployments, and supporting production environments. maintainable solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nSnowflake Engineering &\nDevelopment\nDesign, develop, and maintain\nrobust data solutions using Snowflake.\nDevelop and support database\nobjects including tables, views, streams, tasks, stored procedures, and dynamic\nSQL frameworks.\nBuild scalable and performant\nETL/ELT pipelines for data integration and analytics workloads.\nOptimize Snowflake query\nperformance, storage utilization, and compute efficiency.\nImplement metadata-driven and\nconfiguration-based data processing frameworks.\nDatabase Administration &\nScripting\nDevelop, support, and maintain\ndatabase administration scripts for operational and support activities.\nCreate automation scripts for\ndatabase monitoring, housekeeping, deployments, validations, and health checks.\nAssist with Snowflake platform\nadministration activities, including role management, access controls,\nwarehouse management, and object security.\nSupport operational maintain\ndeployment scripts and release automation processes.\nEnsure database changes are\nproperly version-controlled, tested, and promoted through environments.\nPartner with development and\noperations teams to establish deployment standards and best practices.\nData Engineering &\nOperational Support\nDevelop efficient data\ningestion, transformation, and validation processes.\nDesign, develop, and support\nAWS Glue jobs and workflows for data ingestion, transformation, cataloging, and\norchestration across cloud and enterprise data platforms.\nWork with Amazon S3 for data\nlanding, staging, archival, file organization, access patterns, and integration\nwith Snowflake and AWS Glue pipelines.\nSupport AWS Database Migration\nService (AWS DMS) tasks for data replication, migration, validation,\nmonitoring, and issue resolution across source and target platforms.\nTroubleshoot and resolve\nissues related to data pipelines, database performance, and application\nintegrations.\nPerform root cause analysis\nand implement corrective actions for recurring issues.\nMonitor data loads, data\nquality processes, and platform performance to ensure reliability and\navailability.\nSupport production incident\nmanagement and operational escalations.\nSoftware Engineering &\nDocumentation\nWrite clean, maintainable, and\nsupportable code following engineering best practices.\nDesign solutions with\nlong-term maintenance, observability, and troubleshooting requirements in mind.\nImplement appropriate logging,\nexception handling, auditing, and monitoring capabilities.\nProduce comprehensive\ntechnical documentation for all solutions, processes, and deployments.\nCreate and maintain\noperational runbooks, troubleshooting guides, discussions.\nRequirements\nAt least 2 years of relevant\ndata engineering experience, including hands-on work with cloud data platforms\nand production data environments.\nStrong hands-on working\nexperience with Snowflake development and administration.\nProficiency in writing and\noptimizing complex SQL queries and Snowflake stored procedures.\nHands-on proficiency with AWS\nGlue for ETL development, workflow orchestration, job monitoring, and\ntroubleshooting.\nExperience developing database\nand application support scripts.\nExperience working with Amazon\nAurora PostgreSQL, including SQL development, integration support, operational\ntroubleshooting, and performance analysis.\nExperience working with Amazon\nS3 for storage, ingestion, staging, and integration with cloud-native data\npipelines.\nExperience with AWS DMS for\ndatabase migration, change data capture, replication monitoring, and\ntroubleshooting.\nHands-on experience with\nLiquibase for database deployment and schema version management.\nStrong troubleshooting,\nanalytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience supporting\nproduction data warehouse or data platform environments.\nAbility to
