across AWS and on-premises environments.\n\nMust-Have Skills:\n\n- 5+ years of experience in MySQL Database Administration\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with MySQL 5.7/8.0\n\n- Hands-on experience with AWS RDS for MySQL and Amazon Aurora MySQL\n\n- Strong production support, incident management, and troubleshooting experience\n\n- Good understanding of Aurora architecture, Multi-AZ, Read Replicas, Failover, and High Availability\n\n- Expertise in MySQL performance tuning and query optimization\n\n- Strong knowledge of indexing and MySQL replication\n\n- Experience with backup, recovery, snapshots, and Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR)\n\n- Experience with AWS CloudWatch and Performance Insights\n\n- Experience with MySQL upgrades, patching, and migration\n\n- Strong understanding of database security, user management, and access controls\n\n- Good knowledge of Linux administration and Shell scripting\n\nGood-to-Have Skills:\n\n- MySQL Group Replication\n\n- InnoDB Cluster\n\n- ProxySQL\n\n- MySQL Router\n\n- Experience with ServiceNow\n\n- Experience working in enterprise production support environments\n\n- Experience supporting both AWS and on-premises databases\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Provide 24x7 rotational production support for MySQL databases across AWS and on-premises environments\n\n- Monitor database health, performance, availability, and capacity\n\n- Troubleshoot database incidents, replication issues, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks\n\n- Perform database changes, upgrades, patching, migration, backup, and recovery activities\n\n- Manage AWS RDS and Aurora MySQL environments\n\n- Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing activities\n\n- Monitor and troubleshoot replication and failover issues\n\n- Manage database users, permissions, access controls, and security configurations\n\n- Participate in on-call support and major incident management\n\n- Maintain database reliability, availability, and operational stability\n\n- Create and maintain database documentation and operational procedures\n\n- Work closely with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to
