About the Job

As a Research Manager in Kantar Agri, you’ll help deliver agricultural and food-market research that enables clients to understand market developments and make informed decisions. You’ll coordinate projects, monitor market data and maintain regular tracking reports, ensuring that every output is accurate, timely and relevant.

You’ll work closely with the local team and Finnish-speaking clients, using Excel and other data sources to identify patterns and turn them into clear insights. Your work will strengthen the quality and consistency of our reporting, improve how we respond to client needs and help clients focus on the developments that matter most to their businesses.

Job Goals

  • Coordinate agricultural and food-market research projects, maintaining clear plans, responsibilities and delivery schedules.
  • Produce regular market-tracking reports using Excel, ensuring outputs are accurate, consistent and delivered on time.
  • Monitor Finnish agricultural and food markets, identifying changes, patterns and developments relevant to clients.
  • Manage data-quality checks, investigate inconsistencies and resolve issues before information is included in client deliverables.
  • Translate data and market information into clear findings and practical insights tailored to each client’s priorities.
  • Present findings to Finnish-speaking clients, answering questions and helping them understand the implications for their organisations.
  • Improve reporting processes, templates and data-handling practices to make recurring delivery simpler, more reliable and efficient.

Ideal Skills and Capabilities

  • Professional proficiency in Finnish, with the ability to discuss findings, explain data and respond to client questions; working proficiency in English.
  • Advanced Excel capability, including organising, validating and analysing datasets and maintaining recurring reports.
  • Strong project-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple reporting cycles, deadlines and contributors.
  • A genuine interest in working hands-on with data, combined with an analytical and curious mindset and the motivation to investigate underlying factors, explore questions in depth, detect data-quality issues and identify meaningful patterns in numerical information.
  • Ability to craft clear, concise client narratives from data; exposure to agriculture, food markets or market research is beneficial but not essential.
