You will work across the product with cross-functional teams, writing and maintaining scalable Playwright and TypeScript automation that runs in our pipelines and catches problems before customers do, and you will help convert today's manual regression into reliable, reusable automation.\nWhat You Will Do:\nPartner with the team: Work with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.\nAutomate across layers: Design and implement automated coverage for functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.\nBuild and maintain the framework: Design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable automated frameworks and scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.\nValidate API:. Develop and execute automated API tests to validate system functionality, integrations, and reliability.\nTroubleshoot with developers: Work closely with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, providing timely feedback.\nEngage in Agile ceremonies: Take part in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.\nHarden regression suites: Build and maintain reliable automated regression suites that validate software stability and release readiness.\nIntegrate into CI/CD. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, monitor results, and improve reliability and feedback speed.\nConvert manual to automated: Convert existing manual test cases into automated coverage, capturing domain knowledge so nothing is lost as automation grows.\nStay current: Track fintech industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in QA and the financial domain.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n5-7+ years as a QA or QE engineer, with substantial hands-on test-automation experience.\nDemonstrated ability to write, debug, and review automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.\nStrong understanding of automation framework architecture, test design patterns, maintainability, and quality-engineering best practices.\nExperience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger.\nExperience testing Salesforce solutions and full-stack applications across UI, API, integration, and data layers.\nExperience with version control including GitHub, Bitbucket, and SourceTree.\nExperience with Jira for project and bug tracking, and Confluence and Zephyr Scale for documentation.\nSolid understanding of Agile and Scrum and experience working in Agile environments.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively within a cross-functional team.\nExperience in the financial services industry is a plus.\nTest automation: functional, regression, API, integration, and end-to-end automated testing.\nAutomation framework: advanced hands-on Playwright and TypeScript, or comparable modern automation technologies.\nApplication platforms: hands-on testing of Salesforce and full-stack applications, including front-end, back-end, API, integration, and data-layer validation.\nAPI testing: Postman and Swagger.\nVersion control: GitHub, Bitbucket, SourceTree.\nProject management and bug tracking: Jira.\nDocumentation: Confluence and Zephyr Scale.\nBasic knowledge of security and performance testing.\nNice to Have:\nAdditional languages: Python, SQL, JavaScript.\nExperience with Selenium, Pytest, and Jenkins.\nFamiliarity with AWS services and cloud-computing concepts\nKapitus Total Rewards Package Includes: \nCompetitive Salary Range of $96,300-$154,400 annually.
