This role involves both teaching and administrative tasks aimed at supporting our international students in achieving their academic goals and ensuring high levels of student satisfaction. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent after a 6-month review period based on staffing needs.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTeaching:\nDeliver classes at various levels using the KI curriculum as assigned by the Academic Manager.\n\nCreate a positive classroom environment that enhances learning and maximizes student satisfaction.\n\nIncorporate new teaching technologies (e.g., Smartboards®) to provide an interactive and enjoyable learning experience.\n\nStudent Support:\nCounsel and advise students on their academic performance and goals.\n\nRecord student attendance and performance accurately and submit reports as required.\n\nPrepare lesson plans and submit them to the Academic Manager when requested.\n\nProfessional Development:\nAttend instructor meetings and in-house workshops to continually improve teaching skills.\n\nAccept and implement feedback on teaching performance to ensure consistent improvement.\n\nAdministrative Tasks:\nCommunicate effectively with administrative staff regarding absences, providing detailed instructions and materials for substitutes.\n\nAdhere to company policies and procedures.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree (or equivalent).\n\nTESOL, CELTA, TEFL certificate (including practicum) or six months of ESL/EFL teaching experience.\n\nMust be authorized to work in the United States.\n\nExcellent skills in creating a dynamic and interactive classroom experience.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience teaching international students and/or 1-2 years of international teaching experience.\n\nProficiency in one or more foreign languages.\n\nKey Skills:\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nAdaptability and cultural sensitivity.\n\nProficiency with digital teaching tools and platforms.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nTasks may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.\nWe are committed to providing accommodations to ensure all individuals can perform these tasks effectively.\nDiversity and Inclusion:\nWe are committed to creating an inclusive environment where all team members feel valued and supported.
