This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic growing environment and contribute to the growth of our operations in the APAC region.As we are expanding our business in the region, you will be responsible in managing the finance function of Kardex Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand). This role includes executing the budgeting and planning, financial and management reporting, and other finance related initiatives/projects. Operationally, your role includes daily accounting, management of tax, internal control, financial reports, cash flow and business partnering.\nYour tasks\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nLeadership & Business Partnering\nLead the Accounting, Finance, Admin and Payroll functions in Kardex SEA - Remstar and Kardex AutoStore Business Units, partnering with cross function teams in Sales, Marketing and Operation functions. \nCoordinate and provide Finance support across SEA that has AutoStore presence - Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and future set up. \nDevelop and control the company’s annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met and financial and statutory regulations complied with. \nServe as a business partner to the other functions (New Business and Life Cycle Service) to drive business initiatives, growth, profitability, cost optimization, productivity and cash generation. \nClosely collaborate with Regional Finance and HR Team, Kardex AutoStore Team. \nLegal, Compliance & Risk Management\nEnsure local legal compliance such as corporate law, statutory law, contract law, tax law, labor law. \nFollow closely Kardex internal rules and guidelines such as Kardex Core Values, Group Accounting and Reporting Manual (GARM), Level of Authority, Treasury Policy, Risk & Insurance Policy etc. \nSupport any internal and external audits as well as Tax Reporting. \nFinancial Accounting & Reporting\nEnsure compliance with local statutory requirements, Swiss GAAP and Group accounting policies and guidelines.\nOversee and manage all local financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.\nLead and ensure timely completion of the Month-End Closing process, in accordance with Group reporting requirements and deadlines.\nProvide local management and cost Center Owners with relevant management reports and costs, Capex & FTE reports. \nEnsure proper revenue recognition, cash management, billing and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes in compliance with applicable financial regulations, Swiss GAAP and Group policies. \nAdministration\nOversee and lead the Administrative and supporting functions, including office supplies and facilities, IT equipment and coordination with the Company Secretary, event coordinators and other external service providers.\nREQUIREMENTS\nSuccessful University degree or professional qualification in Finance and Accounting \nMinimum 5-7 years professional experience in Finance and Accounting. \nCompetent in financial software (SAP B1 and S4Hana, Cognos, etc). \nExperience in financial planning, forecasting, accounting, controlling & reporting, in a global functional and matrix organization. \nChange and project management skills will be added advantage. \nKnowledge of project accounting. \nDynamic and proactive finance professional who is comfortable being part of a small regional team and is self-driven to make a difference. \nWorking experience in a multinational company environment, with ability to operate in diverse cultures and interact with colleagues across the globe. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams) \nFluent in English (spoken and written) \nComfortable working based on the financial closing timeline and work hour schedule of an
