This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, growing environment and contribute to the expansion of our operations across the globe.Your tasks\nPURPOSE OF THE ROLE\nThe Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) ensures the reliability, performance, and operational excellence of our Kardex One SaaS platform running in Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on building a highly automated and observable environment that enables seamless service delivery and high availability for our customers. The Platform Engineer / SRE acts as a key bridge between Cloud Engineering, internal and external support partners, and Product Development to ensure a stable and customer-centric operational foundation.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDefine and automate deployment workflows (using Azure DevOps) including approval gates, environment promotion strategies, and rollback procedures.\nEstablish observability and monitoring standards with Grafana and related tools, ensuring consistent metrics, alerting, and dashboards across environments.\nDevelop and document operational playbooks and runbooks covering incident response, on-call duties, and escalation paths with internal teams and external service providers.\nCollaborate with Cloud Engineers to standardize infrastructure as code using Terraform and Bicep for consistent environment provisioning and configuration management.\nDesign and implement operational processes for deployment, monitoring, incident management, and support in collaboration with Cloud Engineering and Development teams.\nContribute to the design of global 24/7 support structures, including handover processes, ticket routing, and communication standards between internal and external teams.\nREQUIREMENTS\nProven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer (4+ years), ideally in an early-stage or scaling environment.\nStrong expertise in Azure (2+ years), Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Bicep, and Azure DevOps.\nDemonstrated ability to design and document operational processes (deployment, change, incident, and problem management).\nExperience in building and integrating observability solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, or similar).\nFamiliarity with 24/7 operations, incident coordination, and collaboration with external service providers.\nHands-on skills in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).\nExcellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nStrong communication and documentation skills in English and German\nNICE TO HAVES\nKnowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to your industry (ISO 27001, SOC 2)\nAzure certifications (e.g., AZ-400 DevOps Engineer Expert, AZ-104)\nExperience working in an agile/scrum environment\nYour
