This role combines software testing, integration, 2nd-level support, and technical leadership. You will ensure the quality of our WES/WAF software, lead complex customer integration projects, and act as a technical escalation point within our 24/7 support team.\nYou will work closely with Software Consultants, Project Leaders, and Developers across EMEA and play a key role in stabilizing and improving our highly customized warehouse execution software.\nYour tasks\nTesting\nDevelop and execute test plans for functional, performance, security, and regression testing.\n\nIdentify, document, and track defects; collaborate with Development to resolve issues.\n\nDefine test strategy, best practices, and mentor junior test engineers.\n\nEnsure test runs and results are delivered within agreed timelines.\n\nSoftware Integration\nIntegrate WES software with customer systems (ERP, WMS, PLC/controls).\n\nConfigure interfaces and commission software onsite with project teams.\n\nTrain customers on system usage and operational workflows.\n\nMaintain system documentation and ensure plant know-how is up to date.\n\nLead complex integration projects and act as technical escalation point.\n\n2nd-Level Support\nHandle escalated incidents in a 24/7 support rotation (6-person team).\n\nTroubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and collaborate with Development on bug fixes.\n\nEnsure clear documentation and handover between shifts.\n\nMentor junior colleagues during support shifts.\n\nTechnical Leadership\nPlan resources and create shift schedules for the support team.\n\nEnsure knowledge sharing, documentation quality, and onboarding of new team members.\n\nDrive continuous improvement and challenge existing processes where needed.\n\nYour profile\nTechnical degree inSoftware Engineering or related field.\n\n5-7 years experience in testing and integrating web/WES/WCS applications.\n\nProven experience leading complex integration projects.\n\nStrong SQL and database experience (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).\n\nHands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, TestLink.\n\nExperience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar agile tools.\n\nSolid background in 2nd/3rd-level support in a 24/7 environment.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and communication skills.\n\nWillingness to travel (~10% EMEA).\n\nWillingness to work in a 24/7 shift/on-call rotation.\n\nKey Competencies\nEntrepreneurial mindset and motivation to build a new support structure.\n\nAbility to mentor and coach junior colleagues.\n\nStrong stakeholder communication across cultures.\n\nSelf-driven, structured, and quality-focused.\n\nCurious, proactive, and willing to challenge the “why”.\n\nWe offer:\nLong-term prospects: A secure job in a fast-growing, international company with exciting development opportunities and interesting and varied tasks in a future-oriented environment\n\nValuable support: Great team spirit, elaborate onboarding and awide range of training opportunities in our own academy at the Bellheim site as wellas an Employee Assistance Program (Lyra)\n\nTangible added value: Flexible working hours, annual vacation on behalf of the respective country regulations\n\nVisible benefits: Attractive salary, company pension plan and capital-formingbenefits - depending on location\n\nAttractive extras: Corporate benefits, company and teamevents\n\nInterested?\nSend us your application including your earliest possible start date and salary expectations via our applicant portal.
