This is a Full Time Position, which reports to the Business Operations Manager MY/SG.As Software Consultant, your role is to ensure the Kardex software scope of our sales opportunities are accurate and aligned with our customer requirements. This role also expands to our Realisation team to ensure the successful implementation and deployment on our customer sites. This role is part of the New Business Team and will collaborate strongly with solution design and project management.\nYour tasks\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nParticipate in discussions with stakeholders to understand business, software and system requirements.\nStudy, review and understand customer’s process, operations, practices and requirement, subsequently translate them to best fit software application.\nAnalyse and define software configuration based on project requirement.\nUnderstand, develop and document Software Functional Description\nLead and implement software setup, configuration and rules according to project requirement.\nDocument all software application requirements, that includes definition, process flow & design, implementation and testing to the required standards.\nDocument issues and providing regular status and progress towards project milestones\nDuring and post software implementation, diagnose, identify error/bugs and fixes to resolve it.\nParticipate in testing and commissioning of the project at customer sites.\nEnsure that the project is implemented successfully, meeting user expectation and quality standards within planned schedule.\nCapture and evaluate customer feedback for improvement.\nAdhere to software deployment best practice.\nCollaborate with other project team member to resolve issues, provide appropriate guidance and advice on software related matters.\nREQUIREMENTS\nEducation: Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software engineering or IT discipline\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in on-customer-site software related project implementation\nKnowledge and understanding of logistics processes (automation, supply chain, WMS) and software solutions in the warehouse/logistics environment (WMS, ERP- systems) is a must-have.\nExposure to intralogistics processes is a must-have.\nExcellent technical document writing skills\nFamiliarity with and installation of SQL databases\nUnderstanding of networks and troubleshooting\nNetwork topology & configuration\nSAP/ERP knowledge is beneficial, but not essential\nMicrosoft office suite knowledge including OneNote\nEnglish -
