More than 3,000 employees around the globe develop and manufacture logistics solutions that are used in many different industries worldwide, such as industrial manufacturing as well as trade and administration.We are searching for our US entities a Solution Architect Record-to-Report (R2R) for the implementation and further development of S4Hana.\nIn this role you are responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Finance, Controlling, and Accounting solutions within Kardex's global SAP S/4HANA landscape.\nThe role acts as a trusted IT partner for Finance business stakeholders and translates business requirements into scalable, standardized, and sustainable SAP solutions aligned with Kardex's ERP strategy and enterprise architecture principles.\nYou are willing and able to commute to one of our US entities on a regular base such as Wexford, Westbrook or West Columbia.\nWorking closely with Senior Solution Architects, Global Process Owners, SAP application teams, and implementation partners, the role supports the harmonization and optimization of global Record-to-Report processes while contributing to the successful execution of the Kardex Transformation Program.\nYour tasks\nBusiness & Solution Architecture\nAnalyze and translate finance, controlling, and accounting business requirements into scalable and sustainable SAP S/4HANA solution designs.\nDrive process standardization and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and optimize Record-to-Report processes.\nEnsure alignment with global architecture principles, SAP standards, and Kardex template requirements.\nSAP Solution Design & Governance\nDesign, document, and review SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions aligned with business requirements and architecture standards.\nContribute to the maintenance and evolution of the global SAP Finance template.\nEnsure adoption of SAP standard functionality and minimize unnecessary custom developments.\nCollaborate with Solution Architects from other process domains to ensure end-to-end process integration.\nTransformation & Project Delivery\nSupport the Kardex Transformation Program through workshops, fit-gap analyses, solution design, testing, rollout, and deployment activities.\nCollaborate with implementation partners to ensure high-quality delivery of agreed solutions.\nStakeholder Management\nAct as trusted advisor to finance, controlling, and accounting stakeholders regarding SAP Finance capabilities and best practices.\nSupport through requirements workshops, process improvement initiatives, and solution design discussions.\nSupport escalation management and issue resolution for complex business and application topics.\nOperational Support & Continuous Improvement\nProvide expert support for complex Finance-related SAP incidents, problems, and enhancement requests.\nCoordinate and monitor 3rd-level support provided by implementation- and support-partners.\nEnsure solution quality, stability, maintainability, and effective knowledge transfer\nYour profile\nEducation:\nBachelor's or master’s degree in information technology, Business Informatics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nStrong understanding of finance, controlling, and accounting business processes\nFluent in English\nSAP S/4HANA Finance certifications are considered an advantage\nExperience:\nProfund experience in SAP Finance and Controlling environments\nHands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA in Finance-related process areas\nExperience with SAP FI, CO, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Revenue Accounting & Reporting, Internal Orders, and Financial Reporting\nExperience gathering business requirements and translating them into SAP solution designs\nExperience working with implementation partners and business stakeholders in an international environment\nExperience supporting ERP projects, rollouts, system enhancements, or transformation initiatives\nKnowledge of end-to-end integration points between Finance and cross-functional business processes\nKnowledge about legal finance requirements in the Americas\nExperience with Sovos Tax Solutions for SAP preferred\nThe position requires occasional domestic and international travel.
