As a member of the Kargo team, you will have the opportunity to develop and deploy tomorrow’s hardware & software solutions and help revolutionize logistics.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop the end-to-end experience for AI-powered products, including data pipelines, backend services, and user interfaces for interacting with the Kargo platform.\nBuild and evolve Kargo’s customer-facing dashboards and applications, creating intuitive experiences that help users understand and act on complex logistics data.\nDevelop software experiences across multiple surfaces - web, mobile, and kiosk interfaces deployed on Kargo Towers and forklifts.\nCollaborate with Product and Solution Engineers to build our agentic AI product suite.\nStrengthen the stability, scalability, and measurability of our backend systems.\nExperience\n5+ years of software engineering experience building products at scale.\nStrong experience in TypeScript and Python.\nExperience building and shipping enterprise or consumer-facing products, with a strong understanding of how product needs translate into technical requirements.\nComfort working cross-functionally and with direct customer stakeholders.\nExperience building modern web applications and APIs, with the ability to own features across the full stack.\nStrong understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and fault-tolerant system design.\nExperience with production infrastructure and observability, including logging, monitoring, alerting, and debugging distributed systems.\nDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\nKargo is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
