We enable successful space operations with mission-critical technology supporting every step from first launch to final landing, including launch vehicle subsystems, propulsion systems, aerodynamic and interstage systems, and payload protection and deployment. Our high-performance solutions are engineered to operate in the most extreme environments and meet precise mission requirements.\nAs an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling precision components, mechanical assemblies, and subassemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and established manufacturing procedures. You will utilize hand tools, assembly equipment, and precision measuring instruments to ensure products meet stringent aerospace quality standards. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nResponsibilities\nAssemble manufactured and purchased components into completed assemblies and subassemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.\nRead and interpret engineering blueprints, assembly drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation to ensure accurate assembly.\nInstall fasteners, hardware, and mechanical components using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.\nPerform deburring, surface preparation, and minor finishing operations to meet engineering and quality requirements.\nInspect assembled components using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and other applicable inspection tools.\nVerify component fit, alignment, and assembly integrity throughout the manufacturing process.\nIdentify and report assembly discrepancies, nonconforming materials, and potential quality concerns to appropriate personnel.\nMaintain accurate production records, inspection documentation, and product traceability information in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.\nFollow established AS9100 quality procedures, manufacturing processes, and applicable customer requirements.\nPerform minor paint or coating touch-ups when required and authorized by applicable work instructions.\nProperly identify, handle, protect, and package completed assemblies to prevent damage during storage or shipment.\nCollaborate with production personnel, quality inspectors, engineering, and program teams to support manufacturing schedules and production requirements.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with established housekeeping and safety standards.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly efficiency, product quality, and operational performance.\nPerform additional duties as assigned to support production and organizational objectives.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.\nPrevious experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, production, or a related hands-on technical environment.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, assembly instructions, and technical specifications.\nProficiency with common assembly hand tools, power tools, and mechanical fastening equipment.\nAbility to use precision measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers.\nBasic understanding of mechanical components, fasteners, hardware installation, and assembly techniques.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures and maintain consistent product quality.\nAbility to identify and communicate discrepancies or nonconforming materials during assembly operations.\nBasic computer skills for accessing work instructions, completing production documentation, and maintaining required records.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nCommitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and ethical business practices.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious assembly experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing.\nFamiliarity with AS9100 quality management standards and controlled manufacturing processes.\nExperience assembling close-tolerance mechanical components or aerospace structures.\nExperience performing deburring, surface finishing, and hardware installation.\nFamiliarity with manufacturing documentation, inspection records, and product traceability requirements.\nExperience working in a regulated manufacturing environment requiring strict adherence to engineering specifications and quality procedures.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods throughout the assigned work shift.\nAbility to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials or components weighing up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements while operating assembly tools and handling
