Backed by decades of flight-proven performance, our teams deliver tailored mission-ready solutions across air, land, and sea, including: launch and deployment systems, propulsion, payload protection, integration and deployment.\nIn this role, you will manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships to ensure the organization has reliable access to materials, components, and services needed to support production and program schedules. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to execute purchase orders, evaluate quotations, maintain documentation, support audits, and contribute to cost-reduction and process-improvement initiatives.\nSchedule\nThe work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.\nResponsibilities\nIdentifies, evaluates, and maintains relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.\nExecutes purchase orders for materials, parts, and services in alignment with specifications, quality requirements, and delivery schedules.\nSolicits, analyzes, and evaluates supplier quotations to ensure best value and compliance with cost, quality, and delivery expectations.\nSources and qualifies suppliers to maintain an approved supplier base consistent with industry and customer requirements.\nManages supplier performance and resolves procurement or delivery issues.\nMaintains accurate and auditable procurement documentation, including purchase orders and supplier quotes.\nSupports internal and external audits by providing required procurement documentation.\nNegotiates pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve cost savings while maintaining supplier reliability.\nMonitors order status, expedites deliveries, and collaborates with planning, inventory, and production teams to address material shortages or changes in demand.\nResolves discrepancies in purchase orders, invoices, and receiving reports in coordination with accounting and suppliers.\nPerforms other related duties as needed.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.\nSelf-motivated with a strong sense of integrity, urgency, and professional responsibility.\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and manage competing demands.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work overtime as needed.\nAbility to multitask and work with minimal supervision.\nAbility to analyze and interpret data to support procurement decisions.\nProficiency in procurement software such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including Epicor.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).\nHigh attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance in documentation.\nPreferred Qualifications\nUnderstanding of industry standards, materials, and certifications such as AS9100, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).\nKnowledge of government contracting principles, cost analysis, and supplier management.\nPhysical Requirements\nConstant standing, walking, or sitting for at least 8 hours.\nSufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and office equipment.\nProlonged periods of repetitive movement.\nOccasional pushing, pulling, lifting, stooping, or carrying up to 10 lbs.
