In this role, you will support the development, testing, and deployment of aerospace and defense mechanical systems across all phases of program execution. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will help translate concepts into proof-of-concept hardware, support prototype fabrication and testing, and contribute to full-scale system development that advances critical military and aerospace technologies.
Responsibilities
- Supports project planning and execution for mechanical system development.
- Assists in completing client objectives on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with required quality standards.
- Supports test planning and execution including procedure development, test design and analysis, data collection, and report generation.
- Contributes to business development and project performance activities to support customer needs.
- Collaborates with technical staff on proposal development and ongoing project execution.
- Engages in hands-on engineering work in a fast-paced environment focused on aerospace and defense system development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience and registration.
- Typically 0 to 3 years of aerospace and/or defense experience.
- Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of data acquisition systems and instrumentation.
- Basic understanding of SolidWorks and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Knowledge of military and commercial specifications.
- A current U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

- Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
