You will contribute to accurate program budgeting, optimized financial metrics, and effective financial tracking processes that strengthen overall financial performance and program execution.\nResponsibilities\nDesigns, implements, and maintains project-based financial measurement processes.\nProvides financial guidance to management and program managers.\nWorks with managers to create program budgets and schedules.\nPerforms and assists in work plan reconciliation and reporting.\nProvides weekly and monthly financial status updates to the Controller.\nReviews financial metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.\nResearches and implements cost-saving strategies.\nSupports the Controller and Contracts Manager in creating proposals, purchase orders, and requests for quotation (RFQs).\nExecutes ad hoc financial tasks such as revenue projections, market research, and budgeting.\nOversees program finance activities.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in a business discipline such as finance, accounting, or operations management.\nProficient with Microsoft Excel.\nAbility to communicate effectively with internal managers and external customers and suppliers.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nFinance or accounting experience.\nExperience working with engineering firms.\nExperience with QuickBooks or other accounting software.\nThis position requires U.S. person status under U.S. export control laws, including U.S. citizens and nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees.\nBenefits\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k) with company match\nPaid time off\nHealth Savings Account (HSA) with company contribution\nFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)\nCompany-paid life and AD&D insurance\nShort- and long-term disability coverage\nTuition reimbursement\nKarman Space and Defense is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
