Our bow-to-stern capabilities include acoustic and sonar protection systems, propulsion systems, advanced composite structures, missile subsystems, canisters and launchers, and autonomous underwater vehicle subsystems. From concept through production, we combine engineering, materials expertise, specialized manufacturing, and large-scale testing to deliver mission-ready systems that reduce technical risk and support long-term operational performance.\nAs an Integrated Scheduler, you will develop and maintain enterprise-level schedules that connect program milestones, production sequencing, capacity forecasts, and cross-functional execution. You will ensure schedule accuracy, integrate ERP data, and provide leadership with clear visibility into constraints, resource needs, and schedule-driven risks. Your work will help teams coordinate effectively and deliver complex manufacturing programs on time.\nSchedule\nThe work schedule follows a 4×10 configuration: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with every other Friday off.\nResponsibilities\nMaintains enterprise scheduling standards, templates, calendars, milestones, and work breakdown structures to ensure consistency across programs.\nOversees schedule development and updates in Microsoft Project and Project Server, ensuring schedules are resource-loaded, logically linked, baselined, and aligned with execution needs.\nReviews schedules submitted by Program Schedulers and provides corrective guidance to strengthen logic, sequencing, resource loading, and feasibility.\nSupports Program Managers and Program Schedulers with integrated master schedule development, analysis, and recovery planning.\nTranslates program schedules into actionable production schedules and partners with Operations to align manufacturing sequences, production rates, and work center requirements.\nIntegrates ERP actuals-including labor hours, material costs, and performance data-into schedule analysis to improve forecasting and variance identification.\nDevelops and maintains full-time equivalent (FTE) manpower plans and resource-capacity models to forecast staffing needs and identify constraints.\nPerforms critical-path and near-critical-path analysis, identifies schedule risks, and develops recovery plans or alternative scenarios.\nEnsures cross-functional schedule integration across Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Facilities, and other teams.\nProvides leadership with accurate forecast dates, workload projections, and visibility into emerging risks and capacity constraints.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in project management, business, engineering, operations management, supply chain, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n5 or more years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, production planning, manufacturing scheduling, or a related discipline.\nExperience with Microsoft Project and enterprise scheduling systems.\nUnderstanding of Project Server or enterprise project management environments.\nExperience developing and maintaining integrated master schedules.\nExperience with resource-loaded schedules and manpower planning.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, lookups, and schedule or resource reporting.\nExperience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and incorporating actual labor hours and costs into project or production analysis.\nAbility to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable information for Program Managers and leadership.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing or production environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Deltek Costpoint or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.\nExperience integrating Microsoft Project or Project Server with ERP actuals.\nExperience with product data management (PDM) and material requirements planning (MRP) systems and work-order processes.\nExperience with composite manufacturing, aerospace or defense, shipbuilding, or other engineered-to-order production environments.\nExperience with resource-constrained scheduling.\nExperience developing manpower or capacity models.\nExperience with earned value management (EVM) or other project controls methodologies.\nProject Management Professional (PMP), Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), or similar certification.\nAdvanced Excel, Power BI, or related data visualization or reporting skills.\nThis position requires U.S. person status under U.S. export control laws, including U.S. citizens and nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees.\nBenefits\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k) with company match\nPaid time off\nHealth Savings Account (HSA) with company contribution\nFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)\nCompany-paid life and AD&D insurance\nShort- and long-term disability coverage\nTuition reimbursement\nKarman Space and Defense is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
