This role is part of our Hypersonics and Strategic Missile Defense business, which designs, develops, and delivers highly dependable missile systems for hypersonic and strategic missile defense missions. We provide integrated, mission-ready hardware that brings together multiple technologies into unified systems engineered to perform in demanding operational environments. Our tip-to-tail capabilities include payload protection and deployment systems, propulsion systems, aerodynamic interstage systems, separation systems, missile subsystems, shroud systems, launch systems, and payload integration solutions.

As a Quality Documentation Specialist, you will coordinate documentation flow and hardware movement across engineering, machining, production, inspection, quality, and shipping teams to support production schedules and on-time delivery commitments. You will help ensure documentation packages, certifications, testing records, and program requirements are complete, accurate, and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates documentation flow and approval routing to support production schedules and on-time delivery commitments.

• Creates, assembles, and maintains accurate, accessible documentation packages and production records.

• Serves as a quality liaison between engineering, machining, production, inspection, quality, and shipping teams.

• Reviews material certifications, testing certifications, and production records for completeness and compliance.

• Reviews program contracts to verify that documentation requirements are met.

• Checks document formatting and conformance with established templates.

• Provides basic word processing, administrative, and project support as assigned by management.

• Trains and supports internal users on relevant software tools.

• Communicates compliance-related questions or issues to management.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.

• Experience with AS9100 and/or International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 standards.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Aerospace or defense industry experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk, climb stairs, and access production areas across multiple buildings.

• Ability to work in production environments with varying temperatures and exposure to noise, dust, dirt, and fumes.

• Ability to lift files, papers, common office tools and equipment, and a laptop.

• Ability to follow safety protocols, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
