We combine comprehensive analysis, engineering, and program execution capabilities to deliver mission-tailored solutions that reduce lead times, lower costs, and simplify complex multi-vendor supply chains. Backed by decades of flight-proven and fielded performance, we design and build mission-critical technologies including launch systems, propulsion, payload integration solutions, UAV components, missile subsystems, and Safe & Arm systems.\nAs a Quality Documentation Specialist, you will help ensure production hardware moves efficiently through the organization while maintaining accurate quality documentation and compliance records. Working closely with engineering, machining, production, inspection, quality, and shipping teams, you will support on-time delivery by verifying documentation completeness, contract requirements, certifications, and production records.\nResponsibilities\nCoordinates with department supervisors to monitor work progress and establish completion dates.\nCreates and maintains documentation packages that support production and quality requirements.\nReviews production documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements.\nRoutes documents for review and approval by appropriate stakeholders.\nReviews material and testing certifications to verify required documentation is complete.\nEvaluates program contracts to ensure applicable requirements are addressed and maintained.\nMaintains organized records and files that are accurate and readily retrievable.\nSupports quality activities and functions as a quality engineer when required.\nProvides training and support to internal personnel on software and documentation processes.\nAssists with additional quality and documentation projects as assigned by management.\nRequired Qualifications\nAbility to type at or above 60 wpm\nHigh school diploma or equivalent work experience.\nAbility to read, speak, and write English.\nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Aerospace Standard 9100 (AS9100) and/or International Organization for Standardization 9001 (ISO 9001).\nAerospace or defense industry experience.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to walk, climb stairs, and access production areas across multi-building facilities.\nAbility to work in production environments with varying noise levels, dust, and temperatures.\nAbility to adhere to safety protocols, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).\nAbility to sit, stand, walk, use hands for typing and document handling, operate office equipment, and communicate in person and by phone.\nAbility to lift and carry light office materials and equipment, including files, papers, and laptops.\nThe essential functions of this position must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.\nThis position requires U.S. person status under U.S. export control laws, including U.S. citizens and nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees.\nBenefits\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k) with company match\nPaid time off\nHealth Savings Account (HSA) with company contribution\nFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)\nCompany-paid life and AD&D insurance\nShort- and long-term disability coverage\nTuition reimbursement\nKarman Space and Defense is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
