We provide integrated, mission-ready hardware that brings together multiple technologies into unified systems engineered to perform in demanding operational environments. Our tip-to-tail capabilities include payload protection and deployment systems, propulsion systems, aerodynamic interstage systems, separation systems, missile subsystems, shroud systems, launch systems, and payload integration solutions.\nAs a Quality Documentation Specialist, you will coordinate documentation flow and hardware movement across engineering, machining, production, inspection, quality, and shipping teams to support production schedules and on-time delivery commitments. You will help ensure documentation packages, certifications, testing records, and program requirements are complete, accurate, and compliant.\nSchedule\n- First shift.\nResponsibilities\nCoordinates documentation flow and approval routing to support production schedules and on-time delivery commitments.\n\nCreates, assembles, and maintains accurate, accessible documentation packages and production records.\n\nServes as a quality liaison between engineering, machining, production, inspection, quality, and shipping teams.\n\nReviews material certifications, testing certifications, and production records for completeness and compliance.\n\nReviews program contracts to verify that documentation requirements are met.\n\nChecks document formatting and conformance with established templates.\n\nProvides basic word processing, administrative, and project support as assigned by management.\n\nTrains and supports internal users on relevant software tools.\n\nCommunicates compliance-related questions or issues to management.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent work experience.\n\nAbility to read, speak, and write in English.\n\nExperience with AS9100 and/or International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 standards.\n\nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite.\n\nAerospace or defense industry experience.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to walk, climb stairs, and access production areas across multiple buildings.\n\nAbility to work in production environments with varying temperatures and exposure to noise, dust, dirt, and fumes.\n\nAbility to lift files, papers, common office tools and equipment, and a laptop.\n\nAbility to follow safety protocols, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).\n\nThe essential functions of this position must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.\nThis position requires U.S. person status under U.S. export control laws, including U.S. citizens and nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees.\nBenefits\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\n\n401(k) with company match\n\nPaid time off\n\nHealth Savings Account (HSA) with company contribution\n\nFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)\n\nCompany-paid life and AD&D insurance\n\nShort- and long-term disability coverage\n\nTuition reimbursement\n\nKarman Space and Defense is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
