Our high-performance solutions are engineered to operate in the most extreme environments and meet precise mission requirements.\nIn this role, you support engineering program management by creating, updating, and maintaining detailed program schedules. You collaborate closely with Program Managers and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, integrate customer schedules, evaluate schedule logic, and help ensure full visibility into program milestones and critical paths. Your work strengthens coordination between engineering, planning, and manufacturing teams while supporting internal and external reporting needs.\nResponsibilities\nSupports implementation and maintenance of program schedules, primarily using Microsoft Project.\nWorks with Program Managers and IPT Leads to ensure program schedules are complete, accurate, and current.\nIntegrates customer schedules, develops internal schedules from provided inputs, and delivers detailed schedules to internal and external stakeholders.\nReviews schedule logic to confirm alignment between detailed plans and the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).\nConducts schedule deep dives to coordinate internal activities and assess impacts of changes requiring IMS updates.\nAssists Program Managers in developing and maintaining status reports for stakeholder communication.\nRuns critical path status reports and identifies schedule risks.\nIdentifies resource conflicts and collaborates with Program Managers to support resource leveling.\nAnalyzes schedule performance and develops recovery options for variances or slipped milestones.\nWorks with Engineering, Planning, and Manufacturing teams for visibility into project milestones.\nInterfaces with customer project teams to ensure alignment between internal and customer schedules.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nTwo or more years of professional experience using Microsoft Project at an advanced level.\nFamiliarity with building and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in accordance with DI-MGMT-81650.\nStrong work ethic and effective verbal and written communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nProficiency with Microsoft Project.\nA current U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate’s degree or higher.\nAdditional experience with scheduling in engineering or manufacturing environments.\nBenefits\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k) with company match\nPaid time off\nHealth Savings Account (HSA) with company contribution\nFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)\nCompany-paid life and AD&D insurance\nShort- and long-term disability coverage\nTuition reimbursement\nKarman Space and Defense is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
