You will oversee cash management, liquidity planning, forecasting, bank administration, and internal controls while partnering with finance and business leaders to build scalable processes, improve operational efficiency, and support decision-making across the organization.\nResponsibilities\nLeads day-to-day treasury operations, including cash positioning, cash forecasting, liquidity management, and bank account administration.\nDevelops and maintains short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity and optimize cash utilization.\nOversees daily cash management activities, including cash concentration, fund transfers, payments, and credit card administration.\nManages monthly, quarterly, and annual treasury processes, including reconciliations and close-related deliverables.\nPartners with site controllers and business stakeholders to support accurate cash forecasting and improve treasury processes.\nDrives compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs) and oversees cash collection efforts.\nEstablishes, documents, and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) for treasury activities.\nCollaborates with the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) team to ensure treasury controls are effectively designed, documented, and operating as intended.\nIdentifies and implements opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiencies to support organizational growth and scalability.\nManages the corporate credit card and expense reimbursement program through Concur.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n8+ years of experience in accounting or treasury.\nStrong hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), cash management, and reconciliations.\nSolid understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), internal controls, and SOX requirements.\nExperience supporting month-end close processes in a complex, fast-paced organization.\nStrong organizational and people management skills.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA).\nExperience working in and establishing a shared services or centralized finance model.\nExperience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle, SAP, Epicor, NetSuite, or similar platforms.\nExperience supporting a public company.\nThis position requires U.S. person status under U.S. export control laws, including U.S. citizens and nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees.\nBenefits\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k) with company match\nPaid time off\nHealth Savings Account (HSA) with company contribution\nFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)\nCompany-paid life and AD&D insurance\nShort- and long-term disability coverage\nTuition reimbursement\nKarman Space and Defense is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
