The Solution Consultant is the technical and product expert on the sales team, leading pre-sales demonstrations that show prospective clients how Karpel's platform fits their specific workflows. This role partners closely with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle and supports RFP responses with accurate, well-organized product and technical content.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nPre-Sales Demonstrations & Solution Design\nLead product demonstrations for prospective clients, tailoring each demo to the workflows and priorities of prosecutor, public defender, court, and city attorney offices.\nTranslate prospect requirements into a demo narrative that shows how Karpel's platform, including KAi, addresses their specific needs.\nDesign and maintain demo environments and sample datasets that reflect realistic office scenarios.\nRespond to technical questions from prospects on functionality, integrations, security, and implementation.\nRFP & Proposal Support\nAssist with RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses, including technical and functional requirement sections.\nMaintain and update a library of RFP content covering product capabilities, security, and implementation approach.\nCoordinate with Sales Operations and product teams to keep RFP content accurate as the platform evolves.\nReview draft responses for completeness and alignment with what was demonstrated to the prospect.\nSales Collaboration & Discovery\nPartner with Account Executives during discovery calls to identify technical requirements and evaluation criteria.\nSupport deal strategy by flagging technical risks, integration needs, or procurement requirements early in the sales cycle.\nAttend finalist presentations and technical evaluations alongside the sales team.\nProduct & Domain Expertise\nMaintain deep working knowledge of Karpel's full product suite, including PbK, DbK and KAi.\nStay current on criminal justice and civil workflows and procurement requirements across prosecutor, public defender, court, and city attorney offices.\nRelay recurring prospect feedback and feature requests to the product team.\nRequirements\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n3+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solution consulting, sales engineering, or similar technical sales role.\nStrong presentation skills with the ability to translate technical detail for non-technical audiences.\nExperience supporting RFP, RFI, or RFQ responses.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience in government, public sector, or criminal justice technology.\nWillingness to travel for client demos, finalist presentations, and conferences as needed.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience using PbK or DbK.\nBachelor's degree.\nFamiliarity with case management or similar SaaS platforms.\nExperience providing demonstrations and/or training in
