Simply click APPLY and follow the steps to upload your application.\nPosition Purpose\nThe BI Analytics & Solutions Engineer is responsible for owning, designing, and evolving end-to-end business intelligence solutions across the organization. This role goes beyond report building and focuses on architecting scalable, reliable, and trusted BI solutions across the full BI ecosystem.\nThe role requires a holistic understanding of the BI stack -from source systems and data transformation, through automation and semantic modelling, to reporting platforms and business consumption.\nKey Responsibilities \nOwn BI solutions across the full lifecycle: Source systems, Automation, data transformation & reporting.\n\nPrimary BI owner for South Africa, managing and resolving BI-related issues impacting local users and aligning with global requirements and recommendations on systems and reporting guidelines.\n\nDesign, build, and maintain Power BI datasets, reports, workspaces and apps\n\nSAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Development\nDesign and maintain SAC stories, templates, and landing pages\n\nCreate and manage live models from BW queries\n\nContribute to the evolution of SAP-based analytics architecture, including SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Datasphere, in line with the Group roadmap\n\nSupport the transition from legacy SAP BW-centric reporting to modern, cloud-based analytics models where applicable\n\nImplement scalable transformations in SQL where appropriate\n\nBuild, maintain, and troubleshoot Power Automate flows\n\nAct as internal business partner on the development and rollout of new reporting and analytical requirements across Sales, Marketing, Supply chain and Finance.\n\nKnowledge, Skills & Experience\nMinimum of 3-5 years’ experience in BI analytics or similar role\n\nRelevant degree in Software Engineering or Information Technology.\n\nExperience with SAP analytics Cloud (JavaScript-based SAC scripting)\n\nExposure to, or an understanding of, SAP Datasphere or modern cloud data platforms would be advantageous\n\nStrong experience in Power BI, SQL and Power automate\n\nStrong MS office skills\n\nHigh caliber of professional interpersonal skills, with excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills (both oral and written)\n\n Personal Characteristics:\nPerformance driven, tenacious and goal orientated\n\nStrong communication and networking skills\n\nStrong internal influencing skills\n\nInnovative problem-solving ability and can facilitate change\n\nAble to lead cross functional teams both internally and externally\n\nProject-management experience -
