The Lead will act as the critical bridge between backend data systems, measurement and research frameworks, and organisational decision-making. This is a builder role under ambiguity.\nCore Responsibilities\n1. Deliver analytics strategy and roadmap\nWork with R&I (Research & Impact) leadership to iteratively define what Karya should measure across earnings, engagement, productivity, and impact. The two critical areas for automated pipelines will be\nWorker Impact and Well Being\nEngagement and Quality by Type of Tasks, Projects and Metrics to Strengthen Re-engagement\nBuild an analytics roadmap aligned with organisational priorities, as per existing reporting mandates\nShift from ad-hoc analysis to systematic decision-making\n2. Build and own analytics systems\nDesign automated monitoring pipelines (SQL, Metabase, backend integration)\nDevelop reusable data models\nEnsure outputs are scalable and decision-oriented\n3. Bridge SQL and social research thinking\nTranslate research questions into SQL logic and measurable indicators\nWork on worker measurement, noisy data, and integration of disparate data sources.\nEnsure outputs are technically robust and methodologically sound\n4. Operate under ambiguity\nConvert vague questions into structured hypotheses and analyses\nProactively identify key questions for the organisation\n5. Strengthen data architecture\nCollaborate with Tech on schema design and data quality\nReduce manual data cleaning\n6. Lead cross-functional analytics\nPartner with Ops and Research teams\nCommunicate insights to non-technical stakeholders\n7.
