This is not a conventional reporting or MIS role-you will tackle ambiguous questions, turn data and research into insights, and help drive better decisions.\nThe Role\nAs a Strategy & Operations Analyst, you will bring analytical rigor, curiosity, and structure to a wide range of problems. Your work will include:\nAnalyze operational performance and product data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement\nSupport process, and strategic initiatives through research, user/team insights, quantitative analysis, scenario modelling, and structured problem-solving.\nOwn the measurement layer for product initiatives, identify the right data sources and pull the metrics needed to validate problem statements and track KPIs defined in product and business requirement documents.\nBuild dashboards, reports, trackers, and decision-support tools to improve visibility, monitor performance, and enable data-driven decision-making.\nTurn ambiguous questions into structured problems, actionable recommendations, and clear decision documents.\nContribute to cross-functional projects by contributing from problem definition → analysis → recommendation → execution.\nThe role will evolve with Karya's needs. You should be comfortable moving between different problems and taking ownership from question to execution.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe value intellectual horsepower, curiosity, ownership, and judgment more than a specific degree or career path.\nYou may be a strong fit if you have:\n3-5 years of experience in analytics, consulting, research, operations, technology, or a similar analytical role.\nStrong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent Excel/Google Sheets skills; SQL is a must-have.\nPandas-python or any experience in dealing with tabular data (csv, tsv files) is a plus.\nAbility to structure ambiguous problems and break them into manageable pieces.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nHigh ownership, attention to detail, curiosity, and comfort working independently.\nGenuine interest in Karya's mission and creating real-world impact.\nWe welcome candidates from unconventional backgrounds.
