The ideal candidate is passionate about operating systems, systems programming, device management, endpoint security, and software quality. \nUnlike traditional development environments where quality ownership is separated, our engineers own the full software lifecycle. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and support your solutions while building automated validation alongside the features you create. Successful candidates combine strong software engineering skills with a quality-first mindset and leverage automation to ensure reliability, maintainability, and release confidence at scale. \nWhat You Will Do \nDesign and implement new features for endpoint agents across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms. \nDevelop software components supporting monitoring, automation, patching, inventory collection, remote actions, scripting, and device management. \nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. \nOwn features throughout the entire lifecycle from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and production support. \nBuild automated tests and validation frameworks alongside feature development. \nDevelop automated coverage for functional, integration, regression, resiliency, and system-level scenarios. \nImprove software quality through testability, diagnostics, telemetry, and automation. \nInvestigate customer-reported issues and production escalations. \nPerform root-cause analysis and implement preventative solutions to avoid future recurrence. \nReproduce complex issues across diverse operating system and endpoint environments. \nImprove agent stability, performance, scalability, security, and reliability. \nDevelop integrations with operating system management, security frameworks, and device management APIs. \nBuild telemetry and diagnostics capabilities that improve product supportability and troubleshooting. \nCollaborate with Product, Support, Cloud Platform, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions. \nParticipate in design discussions, code reviews, architecture reviews, and sprint planning activities. \nUtilize AI-assisted development and testing tools to accelerate engineering productivity and improve software quality. \nWhat You Bring \nRequired Qualifications \n12+ years of software engineering experience developing system software, endpoint software, platform services, or related applications. \nStrong proficiency in C# and .NET, including experience building production-grade applications and services. \nExperience building automated tests and validation capabilities as part of the software development lifecycle. \nExperience developing automated test frameworks and validation tooling using technologies such as xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, Selenium, Playwrightor similar testing frameworks \nExperience with Windows system programming concepts such as Win32 APIs, Windows Services, WMI, Registry operations, process management, threading, security models, or related operating system capabilities. \nStrong knowledge of operating system fundamentals, including: Processes and threads, Filesystems, Networking, Services and daemons, Security models, Privilege management, Performance and resource utilization \nStrong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills. \nExperience developing software that interacts with operating system services, APIs, or management frameworks. \nUnderstanding of software quality engineering principles, test automation, and CI/CD practices. \nExperience using AI-assisted development tools such as coding assistants, code generation tools, or intelligent debugging solutions. \nPreferred Qualifications \nExperience with RMM, UEM, EDR, XDR, endpoint security, or device management products. \nKnowledge of C, C++, Rust, Go \nExperience with Microsoft Intune, Apple MDM, Android Enterprise, or Linux management platforms. \nKnowledge of PowerShell, Bash, Python, AppleScript, or other scripting technologies. \nExperience building test frameworks, automation libraries, or system-level validation tooling. \nExperience working with virtualization, containerization, or automated device
