We build it.\nPosition Summary\nKaseya is hiring a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to design, develop, and maintain scalable reporting and analytics solutions that support data-driven business decisions. This role will leverage Power BI, SQL, Python, and Advanced Excel to transform complex data into actionable insights, automate reporting processes, and deliver impactful dashboards that drive operational excellence and business performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards to support business and operational decisions.\nGather and analyze business requirements, translating them into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.\nDevelop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data models to support reporting and analytics needs.\nCreate and maintain Python-based automation scripts for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting processes.\nPerform data analysis, cleansing, validation, and transformation across multiple data sources while ensuring data quality and consistency.\nBuild and maintain advanced Excel-based analytical models, dashboards, and reports using PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, XLOOKUP, and advanced formulas.\nImplement and manage Power BI security models, including Row-Level Security (RLS), data governance, and access controls.\nCollaborate with business, operations, and technical teams to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements.\nMonitor report performance, troubleshoot data-related issues, and continuously optimize reporting solutions for scalability and efficiency.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or related roles.\nStrong experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic data models.\nProficiency in Advanced DAX functions including CALCULATE, SUMX, iterators, and performance optimization techniques.\nHands-on experience with Power BI data modeling, Power Query (M Language), and Row-Level Security (RLS).\nAdvanced SQL expertise including complex joins, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), window functions (RANK, DENSE_RANK), query optimization, and stored procedure development.\nStrong proficiency in Python programming and scripting for automation, reporting, and data analysis.\nExpertise in Advanced Excel including PivotTables, Power Pivot, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, and workflow automation.\nGood understanding of ETL processes, data transformation concepts, and data warehousing fundamentals.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience designing enterprise reporting solutions within Power BI Service and Microsoft Fabric environments.\nKnowledge of dimensional modeling concepts including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema design.\nExperience integrating data from ERP, CRM, ticketing, or operational management systems.\nFamiliarity with Azure Data Services, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), or other ETL platforms.\nExperience implementing reporting governance, data quality frameworks, and dashboard performance tuning.\nAbility to present complex analytical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience working in fast-paced, time-critical business environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.\nAdditional
