We believe our people, partners, and shared purpose fuel our work to advance patient care and access to important medicines.\nPosition Summary\nThe Facility and Engineering Supervisor oversees the day-to-day maintenance, reliability, and performance of facility and utility systems supporting manufacturing and business operations. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff and contractors, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and company standards. The role supports critical infrastructure including HVAC, classified AHUs, electrical distribution, plumbing, compressed air, process gases, WFI systems, and building management systems while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across the site.\n Essential Duties & Responsibilities\nMaintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, AHUs, chillers, boilers, compressed air, and building utilities. \nOversee the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of clean utility systems, including Water for Injection (WFI), classified Air Handling Units (AHUs), compressed air systems, and process gas distribution networks, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.\nMonitor Building Automation Systems (BMS and FMS) and utility performance to ensure reliable operations. \nCoordinate preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities. \nManage work orders and supervise maintenance technicians and contractors. \nSupport HVAC systems in cleanroom environments, including temperature, humidity, pressure differentials, and HEPA filtration. \nEnsure adherence to cGMP, FDA, OSHA, EPA, and company requirements, as well as all applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to facilities, utilities, environmental compliance, and employee safety.\nMaintain facility, utility, and maintenance documentation, including SOPs and preventive maintenance records. \nServe as the Clean Utility representative during FDA, customer, and internal audits.\nSupport investigations, deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and audit readiness activities. \nCoordinate calibration, validation, and qualification activities for utility systems and equipment. \nManage spare parts inventory and procurement of maintenance materials. \nOversee pest control, janitorial services, and facility sanitation programs. \nParticipate in facility projects, equipment installations, commissioning, and upgrades. \nRespond to emergency calls and participate in an on-call rotation. \nProvide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff. \nPromote safety, reliability, and continuous improvement throughout facility operations.\nRequirements\nPosition Requirements and Qualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. \nExperience:\nMinimum of 5 -7 years of experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device setting is required.\nMinimum of 2-4 years of supervisory or team leader experience.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nSPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:\nDemonstrates good oral and written communication skills.\n Demonstrates the ability to provide timely feedback to Management and customers regarding work, procedures, schedules, etc.\nMust understand and apply all concepts, methods, and procedures applicable to the job and make good decisions.\nAbility to read, comprehend, and apply written and verbal instructions accurately.\nWork cooperatively with other team members and co-workers toward departmental or area goals.\nHigh attention to detail.
