Responsibilities :\n\n- Design, develop, test, and support integrations between Ellucian Banner and third-party applications.\n\n- Build and configure integrations using Ellucian Ethos Integration, Ethos APIs and data models, Ellucian Data Connect, REST APIs, and web services.\n\n- Develop and maintain API-based, file-based, and scheduled integrations, including validation, error handling, and reconciliation.\n\n- Assess existing Banner interfaces and recommend modernization approaches appropriate for Banner SaaS/cloud environments.\n\n- Prepare source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, technical specifications, test cases, and deployment documentation.\n\n- Troubleshoot API failures, integration errors, data issues, and interface performance problems across environments.\n\n- Work with Banner Student, Finance, Financial Aid, and HR/HCM functional and technical teams to translate requirements into integration solutions.\n\n- Support integration testing, deployment, production transition, and post-go-live stabilization.\n\n- Coordinate with onsite/client-facing teams and participate in customer technical discussions when required.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience :\n\n- 8+ years of relevant enterprise application, integration, or Ellucian Banner technical experience.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Ellucian Banner technical architecture and Banner integrations.\n\n- Strong practical experience with Ellucian Ethos Integration, Ethos APIs, and/or Ellucian Data Connect.\n\n- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, web services, and enterprise integration patterns.\n\n- Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in a Banner environment.\n\n- Understanding of Banner database structures, processes, and integration dependencies.\n\n- Experience integrating Banner with external applications using APIs, flat files, SFTP, web services, or scheduled processes.\n\n- Ability to perform data mapping, transformation, validation, troubleshooting, and reconciliation.\n\n- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.\n\nPreferred Skills :\n\n- Experience supporting Banner SaaS migration or integration modernization programs.\n\n- Experience migrating legacy Banner integrations to Ethos, Data Connect, or API-based architectures.\n\n- Knowledge of Banner Student, Finance, Financial Aid, or HR/HCM business processes.\n\n- Experience with Git/source control and CI/CD practices.\n\n- Exposure to Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica IICS, Azure Integration Services, or similar platforms.\n\n- Experience supporting U.S. higher education institutions and familiarity with FERPA/data-governance considerations.\n\nRecruiter Screening Criteria :\n\n- Ask for a specific example of an integration built using Ethos APIs
