qualified professional for the position described below.\n\nJob Details\n\nPosition: Laboratory Analyst (Microbiologist)\n\nLocation: Ikeja, Lagos\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nRole Overview\nThe successful candidate will be a Microbiologist tasked with performing microbiological analyses, supporting day-to-day laboratory operations, and ensuring that all activities comply with established quality and regulatory standards.\n\nThe position involves analysing samples, carrying out microbial testing, keeping accurate records of laboratory work, and following Good Laboratory Practices together with relevant safety procedures.\n\nThis role is essential to safeguarding the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results, supporting quality assurance efforts, and helping the company meet its operational and quality objectives.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPrepare culture samples of bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms for analysis.\n\nPerform isolation, identification, and enumeration of microorganisms present in environmental samples, food, drugs, chemicals, and agro-allied samples.\n\nProvide recommendations and propose practical solutions for improvement.\n\nConduct environmental monitoring activities.\n\nApply Good Laboratory Practice guidelines strictly within the microbiology laboratory.\n\nDraft work instructions, standard operating procedures, and other related documentation.\n\nOperate in line with ISO 17025:2017 laboratory guidelines.\n\nUphold the laboratory's impartiality and confidentiality policies.\n\nMaintain strong documentation and housekeeping practices.\n\nConfirm that procedures are validated or verified before being put to use.\n\nEnsure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.\n\nTake part in risk assessment, review, and implementation.\n\nParticipate in audit activities.\n\nCarry out any other duties as
